Sue has a genuine love for helping others, and her compassionate spirit makes everyone around her feel seen and valued.

🌟 Highlands Spotlight of the Week 🌟

This week, we are proud to recognize Charlesha Lawrence as our Highlands Spotlight of the Week!

Charlesha is so much more than our amazing Activities Director. While she leads an outstanding activities program that keeps our residents engaged, entertained, and smiling, her impact reaches far beyond her department.

No matter where help is needed, Charlesha is there. It's not uncommon to hear, "Where is Charlesha?" or "Have you seen Charlesha?" because she is always on the move, jumping in to assist wherever she can. Whether she's supporting residents, helping fellow team members, or lending a hand in another department, she gives 100% of herself every day.

Her dedication, energy, and servant-hearted attitude make a tremendous difference in our community. We are incredibly grateful for all that she does and so lucky to have her as part of the Highlands family.

A big thank you to Traci and her wonderful helpers from Willowbrook Hospice for spending time with us today!

Our residents had a great time getting creative as we painted egg cartons and transformed them into colorful outdoor decorations. After all the painting was complete, we headed outside together to hang our creations and brighten up the space for everyone to enjoy.

It was a beautiful day filled with laughter, creativity, and community. We are so grateful for friends like Traci and the Willowbrook team who bring joy and smiles wherever they go!

This week, we are proud to recognize Chris Boston, one of our outstanding housekeeping team members!

Chris is truly one of the kindest people you will meet. Always wearing a smile and willing to lend a helping hand, he goes out of his way to support both residents and team members whenever he can. His positive attitude, dependable nature, and caring spirit make a difference throughout our community each and every day.

Whether he is brightening someone's day with a friendly conversation or stepping in to help wherever needed, Chris exemplifies what it means to be a valuable part of the Highlands family. His dedication and kindness do not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for the warmth and positivity he brings to our community.

🍦 Sweet treats and even sweeter company! 🍦

Our residents had a wonderful time at today’s Ice Cream Social with Jennifer May from Regency Hospice. It was an afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, great conversation, and delicious ice cream enjoyed by all.

A special thank you to Jennifer and the Regency Hospice team for spending time with our residents and helping create such a fun and memorable event. We are grateful for community partners who bring joy and meaningful connections to those we serve.
