My students and I built an indoor, glow-in-the-dark miniature golf course at our school. They had to use math, apply problem solving skills, and collaborate. It was a fun and very beneficial activity for them. Here's a recent article in Inside Golf newspaper about our STEM project:

Elementary school teacher has unique way to introduce kids to golf - Inside Golf Newspaper Jim Franklin, a life-long golfer, knows the benefits of participating in a sport. Franklin is a special education teacher at Elm Street Elementary in Rome, GA, and wanted to design a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) project to introduce golf to the students in his school.
