GracePoint Rome Church

This reiterates what we have been learning from our sermons at Grace Point Rome the last few weeks. Forgiveness is a major factor in everyone’s life. Unforgiveness is a major stumbling block.

You don't have to wait for an apology to begin healing.

We would love for you to join us in worship at Grace Point Rome this Sunday. There’s always more room for family!

❤️ "I felt my heart strangely warmed."

John Wesley spent years striving to earn God's favor. He prayed, fasted, served others, and pursued holiness with remarkable discipline. Yet he still lacked the assurance that comes through faith in Christ.

Everything changed on Aldersgate Street.

This week's lesson of Methodist Roots explores the conversions of John and Charles Wesley and reminds us that salvation is received through grace—not earned through our own efforts.

Have you experienced the peace that comes from trusting Christ alone? 🕊️

We are thrilled and deeply blessed to welcome our newly elected Bishop, Rev. Paul Lawler, to Episcopal Area 7 of the Global Methodist Church.

Rev. Lawler brings a wealth of faithful leadership, pastoral heart, and vision for kingdom mission. As we step into this exciting new chapter together, we invite our entire conference family to join us in prayer for Rev. Lawler and his family as he begins his episcopal leadership.

Please join us in extending a warm welcome in the comments below!

Joy and Wes Griffin are our next two clergy from North Georgia who are heading to South Africa for General Conference - please join us in praying for them and the work God is calling them toward.

Let’s BE the church! Inside and outside the doors of the church! Beyond the Walls of the Church!!

Bert Hunt was our special speaker today. We at Grace Point Rome are honored to be in partnership with Loving Others. He shared how LOVING OTHERS ministry continues to meet the needs of the homeless in Floyd County. In 2025, Loving Others distributed over 42,000 articles of clothing and other items. But more importantly they have presented Christ in action, word and deed.

“….Truly, I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
