Meet us at Griffiss Park Sculpture Garden and Trail Park at the Thor Ave parking lot at 10am this Saturday if you want to get a little walk on while getting a good dose of goodness.

You have the flu; you go to the doctor for treatment without being ostracized. You have diabetes; you go to the doctor for help without being rejected by the world. You have trouble seeing; you get treatment without being condemned. Why then are so many are stigmatized for having a condition that they did not chose and did not bring upon themselves?

I have never met anyone who stood in the depression line, anxiety line, bipolar line, trauma line waiting for debilitating symptoms to ravage their entire worlds. Why do we humiliate people seeking some relief from crippling symptoms because of illogical beliefs about mental health being a disease?
