AIRSHOW RACING SERIES DEBUTING AT ROME – Join the action October 15-16 for the 2022 WingsOverNorthGeorgia.com airshow weekend. The inaugural AirShow Racing Series will be introduced to the North American Air Show Industry at Rome’s Russell Regional Airport. Both Super Sport and Extreme Sport class competitors utilize two 500’ x 5000’ racing lanes with 10 pylons spaced approximately 600 feet apart for the side-by-side, slalom-style (Drag Racing) competition for three exciting green flag racing laps. The racing course is a three-dimensional track for multiple heats of match-racing competition. The USAF A-10 and QYON S-211 Jet Demo Teams are featured along with America’s top aerobatic and military performers. SERIES UPDATES: JLC AirShow Management’s AirShow Racing Series (ARS) received its bi-annual FAA recertification last week in both the Super Sport & Extreme Sport racing classes!
