Kinda chic to hop on a trend 💅🏼
Hiiiiii to everyone that’s new around here. Welcome! This might be a trend but it’s also a little peek into what you’ll find around here if you stick around.
I hate that Instagram is trying to make everyone “find your niche” and claiming that’s the only way to grow. I refuse.
So honestly you’ll find a little bit of everything around here depending on the day, my mood, or the season I’m currently in.
If I had to describe it I’d go with — a little midlife awakening, with a mix of chaotic motherhood + keeping our marriage hot, a sprinkle of activism, a dash of sass, a heaping of sparkles, and a whole lot of fun. Because I learned way too young that life is way too short to take yourself too seriously…

🛝Playground Saga… Part ✌🏼
They tore our kids playground out at the beginning of June 2025… yes, 14 months ago.
The week before school was out, we were told there was one final test the playground needed to pass (a bounce test??) — and yet more than 2 months later, zero additional progress has been made.
I. Am. Fuming.
I have zero faith this playground will be open by the first day of school — but hopefully Parkway Schools will prove me wrong. Because I think we can all agree that this is so unacceptable.
If anyone knows anyone that knows anything, feel free to tag them or send this to them… like who needs to focus and finish on this to get it done in the next 3 weeks?!
There’s still time to early vote before next week’s election! ✅
Parent tip: vote at the library and bribe your kids with story time / checking out new books / playing at the library! There was no line, and the whole process took less than 5 minutes, even with my son asking 300 questions to the election workers. 🗳️
This election is far too important to sit out — the future of our state will be highly dependent on the outcomes. Vote NO on amendments 4 & 5!
