Elk Prairie Cemetery Association The Elk Prairie Cemetery & Elk Prairie Presbyterian Church were established in 1870.
Today a 5 member board of directors oversees the operation of this beautiful country cemetery. Donations greatly assist us in maintaining this cemetery. If you feel so inclined, please mail your donation to:

Christmas memorial veterans wreaths were placed on graves of the following soldiers in Elk Prairie cemetery, Phelps Co., MO on December 16, 2024 as a part of Wreaths Across America, an annual national campaign to place memorial wreaths on veterans’ graves at Christmas:

Jacobs, Lee Albert- Pvt. US Marine Corps, WW II.
Hoffman, Alfred Felix – Sgt. Co A, 12th MO Calvary Regt (Union) Civil War
Shelton, Ruble – PFC US Army WW I.
Livingston, John, Jr. - 8th Pa. Vol. Inf. Regt. and 12th US Inf. Regt. Civil War.
