Mandy and I ran up to the slab distributors yesterday in St. Louis….we weren’t able to pick. Shock shock. I think I saw the curvature of the earth in the rows of granite. It was a great afternoon of over thinking…Mandy is the prettiest thing I saw:)

Farm folks…the side walls out of the tires used for big water tanks…would those work for sleds to attach those round mineral feeders to so I could drag them around. Car hoods are okay but the salt eats them up…any body have some of those sidewalls I could snag?

We had a full day working with the kids in town. They’ve got the work ethic bred into them from all sides. We’ve been full throttle wide open, sustaining an unsustainable pace but we’ve had a nice night cooking over a fire and taking turns playing our favorite songs on Mandy’s phone. I’m thankful for my Mandy and our little tribe. Hope they want these businesses…hope they have us over to their fire pit.

Thankful for the example I got and the expectations I was raised with. Honored to pass them on….today was Owen’s 13th birthday and we were productive and he wouldn’t have it any other way. God is good…
