From juggling a CNA job and waitressing to walking across the stage as a licensed Registered Nurse — Reagan Blain's story is one for the books.

In January 2024, Reagan came to the Central Region Job Center with a goal and a whole lot of determination. With support through WIOA Adult, Healthy Blue, and the EDA Good Jobs Challenge, she enrolled at Mineral Area College, earned her LPN, and kept going. In December 2025, she graduated with her Associate Degree in Nursing and passed her boards.

She's now working as an RN at SSM Health St. Mary's in Jefferson City — earning more than double her previous wage and receiving full benefits.
