Americare - Parkside

June 12th and 13th from 9am-12pm Parkside Independent Living will be having a yard sale. All proceeds will go to resident activities.

We are almost finished with our renovation at Parkside Memory Care, and we couldn't be more excited!! We are so grateful for consistently reinvesting in their communities. One of the last pieces of the renovation is new furniture coming next week, so we have some of the old that needs to find new homes. Items will be posted in the comments, and will need to be picked up no later than June 5th or we will have to have them removed. All proceeds will go back directly to the residents.

We LOVE BINGO!! So much so, that we host it at the Phelps County Senior Center in Rolla. Every. Single. Month! Come see us for first Wednesday BINGO at 11am every month for great conversations, and the chance to win some pretty good prizes. Feeling hungry? Lunch is served at noon for a small donation.

At Americare-Parkside, we embrace the overall wellness pets can bring to our lives. This Saturday, we are supporting the Phelps County Animal Rescue in their fundraising attempts by providing a basket for the silent auction. It is shaping up to be a wonderful event worthy of checking out!

At Parkside Senior Living, our team is our family. Today, we were able to celebrate our "sis", Sheila Varner, and thank her for 25 years of dedication to our campus. If you know Sheila, you know that she'll give anyone the shirt off her back if she thought they needed it. And if she just happens to see something you might like, she's definitely getting it for you. Sheila is hard-working, compassionate, kind, and so loving. We are incredibly grateful, every day, for her dedication to our friends and family! She is the true definition of Hometown Hospitality.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Today we celebrated with Rubens and fries. Then we had a lot of fun and laughs around the house by doing a scavenger hunt followed by some Shamrock shakes 🍀
