Senior athlete and girls team captain Emma Spaulding is a truly integral part of the Credo Gryphons cross country team. In addition to being one of the top scoring competitors on the team, Emma is a true leader and phenomenal role model for our younger runners. With her positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and willingness to take on whatever comes her way, Emma exceeds expectations across the board. Coming off her best race of the season, Emma heads to our November 13th Conference Championship ready to perform at her highest level.

Senior, co-captain, and current school record holder Castle Schlueter is having an outstanding season for the Credo Gryphons cross country team. Castle, a three-sport Credo athlete, trains year-round to stay at the top of his game. At our most recent meet, Castle was just seconds away from breaking his own school record by completing Spring Lake’s 3-mile course in 17 minutes and 31 seconds. Hitting his peak form at just the right time, Castle has his sights set on the upcoming Conference Championship race on November 13th, held at Spring Lake Regional Park.

Ade, a 9th grader, just completed her Frosh Volleyball season. Coach Bruce Le had this to say about Ade, “Her focus, hustle, and effort is displayed during practices and on game days. When not playing hse is unselfishly lifting up her teammates on the sidelines. Her dedication to improving at every practice has been incredible, and it’s inspiring to watch her grow into a player who has fallen in love with the sport.”

Kiara Good, 10th Grade
Kiara, a 10th grader, is a second year JV player and brought confidence and leadership into the season. Through her stellar play the young team is competing well with the best teams in the league. Says Coach Carlos,
“Kiara demonstrated consistency and leadership with her teammates on and off of the court”

Harrison is a co-captain and midfielder for our first-ever JV Boys soccer team. Harry has led our team on and off of the field as he and his 13 9th grade teammates acclimate to high school academics and soccer. The team is playing well, having recently beaten rival Sonoma Academy 2-1. Says Coach Ramio, “Harry is the best. He stays calm all the time and plays the game the right way. He’s going to have a great career at Credo.”

Senior, striker, Kevin Hernandez, has led the Gryphons offense the first half of the season, leading the team in scoring after 10 games. He trains year-round and has been an important part of our young team’s competitiveness this fall. Says Coach Swift, “Kevin’s skill and creativity with the ball has been a game changer. He puts constant pressure on the opposing teams defenses.”

Junior, midfielder, Aidyn Cresalia-Clark is a remarkable athlete. Her passion for the game is a never ending one. A co-captain, Aidyn has helped the Gryphons to a 9-1 start to the season, steadying a young roster that lost some important players from last year’s team. Says Coach Israel,
“She is one of the few players that can step on the field and actually change the game.”

Luna Dator has set the tone for the season by leading our Credo Cross Country girls to team wins over league rivals Technology High School and Sonoma Academy, completing the 3-mile course in just over 23 minutes.  With her positive attitude and unwavering dedication to her training, the sky is the limit for Luna this season.

June Guthrie really came forward this season by showing up to the game in crucial moments. She is a role model as a person and as an athlete for the younger players
