Enrique is working in his first album as a leader and composer. The album combines genres such as smooth jazz, Latin and funk. At the same time, he is leading a project called "Duet Sessions." The purpose of these sessions is to showcase great musicians from the Bay Area as well as his favorite sceneries in the city.
One of my favorite bebop melodies: Confirmation by Charlie Parker. The epitome of bebop lines: very angular but with so much musicality and intention. I also love the chord progression with that very distinctive B section. Let me know what you think!
