Dear customers and friends of Àzalo:
It is with both heavy hearts and deep gratitude that we write to you today. Following the passing of our beloved Eduardo — the heart and soul of Azalo — continuing the journey without him has been one of the most difficult challenges we've ever faced. Eduardo poured his passion, creativity, and love into every dish, every moment, and every connection made through this little place we all came to cherish.
In light of this, we want to share some important news. Azalo will soon end its chapter here and the location will come under new ownership. This decision has not come easily. Our hope is the new owners will bring new energy, new ideas, and hopefully, the same love you’ve always felt here.
Words cannot truly capture the gratitude we feel for your support over the years — your kindness,
loyalty, and the community you helped us build. Together, we’ve created more than just a restaurant. We’ve shared meals, stories, laughter, and memories that will remain with us forever.
As we step away from Azalo, we carry all of you in our hearts.

Queridos clientes y amigos de Àzalo:
Es con el corazón triste, pero también con profunda gratitud, que les escribimos hoy. Tras el fallecimiento de nuestro querido Eduardo —el corazón y alma de Azalo—, continuar este camino sin él ha sido uno de los retos más difíciles que hemos enfrentado. Eduardo volcó su pasión, creatividad y amor en cada platillo, en cada momento y en cada conexión creada a través de este pequeño lugar que todos llegamos a apreciar.
En este contexto, queremos compartir una noticia importante: Azalo pronto cerrará su capítulo en este lugar, el cual pasará a estar bajo una nueva administración. Esta decisión no ha sido fácil. Nuestra esperanza es que los nuevos dueños traigan una energía renovada, nuevas ideas y, ojalá, el mismo amor que ustedes siempre sintieron aquí.
Las palabras no alcanzan para expresar la gratitud que sentimos por su apoyo a lo largo de los años —su amabilidad, lealtad y la comunidad que juntos ayudamos a construir. Más que un restaurante, juntos creamos un espacio donde compartimos comidas, historias, risas y recuerdos que llevaremos
con nosotros para siempre.

Our Story - AZALO!
We are Eduardo and Louisa and our goal is to bring you Grilled Flavors from near and far. we specialize in grilled plates, burgers, kabobs, quesadillas, wraps, salads and sandwiches🔥
Journey
As a young boy in Mexico, Eduardo was in awe the first time he saw a proper chef standing tall with his chef coat and a white hat. His path in life wasn’t headed that way exactly until he learned he had Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphona. Louisa was an angel that visited sick cancer patients to pray with them in their final days.
Eduardo agreed to pray with her and asked the Lord to spare his life, so he could fulfill his dream of becoming a chef and opening his own business. He barely survived the harshest cancer treatment by the grace of God. Two years later he married Louisa and for the last 10+ years he worked and trained in many kitchens learning how to cook foods from around the world.
