Today, members of the Dress for Success Northwest Arkansas team had the opportunity to attend the “If She Can See It, She Can Be It” panel at the Bentonville Film Festival, and we left feeling inspired, energized, and empowered.

The panel brought together an incredible group of actors, creators, executives, and industry leaders to discuss the importance of women-led storytelling and representation in media. Through honest conversations about overcoming obstacles, and breaking barriers the panelists shared valuable insights on what it takes to achieve success and lead with purpose.

At DFS NWA, this message aligns closely with our mission. Every day, we work to empower women in our community by providing the confidence, skills, and resources they need to achieve success both personally and professionally. When women can see what’s possible, they are more likely to believe in their own potential and take the next step toward their goals.

We are grateful for the opportunity to learn from these remarkable women and bring that inspiration back to the work we do in Northwest Arkansas. ❤️

Freedom is not just a moment in history, it is something we fight for every day. 🖤

On June 19, 1865, the announcement that enslaved people in Texas were free marked a turning point in the lives of Black Americans that can still be felt to this day.

Today, we honor that legacy. Our office will be closed in observance of Juneteenth. We will see you back on June 22nd to continue empowering our community toward confidence and economic independence.

Meet Ally Graves. She is a B.S. in Apparel Merchandising and Product Development major at the University of Arkansas. This summer she is helping with everything from the content you see on our pages to the events we bring to the community.

Ally joined us ready to put her creativity to work in marketing and learn the ins and outs of event planning. We're glad she's here. 🤍

It's easy to look around and feel like you're behind.

We compare our journey to the people around us, measure ourselves against where we thought we'd be by now, and wish we were already at the next milestone. But success isn't one-size-fits-all. It doesn't follow the same timeline, path, or definition for everyone.

Your version of success is yours to create; one step, one goal, and one accomplishment at a time. What matters isn't how your journey compares to someone else's, but that you're continuing to move forward.

If you're looking for support along the way, Dress for Success Northwest Arkansas is here to help. From professional attire and career development to confidence-building resources, we're committed to helping women achieve their goals and define success on their own terms.

Dream it. Dress for it. Develop the skills. Drive toward it. And when you get there pay it forward. ✨

Every woman who walks through our doors brings her own story, her own goals, and her own version of success. Our job is to walk alongside her from the first dream all the way to the drive that keeps her going.

For Yamileth, leadership is about growth and action; helping the people around you become better versions of themselves, stepping up when change is needed, and solving problems collaboratively rather than alone. She sees a leader as someone who pays attention, shows up, and brings others along.

We're proud to have her on our Student Leadership Council. 👏
