What looked like a lost cause turned into a backyard centerpiece. These two steel patio chairs were showing their age — but with some dedicated sanding, wire brushing, and a thorough surface prep, they were brought back to life better than before.
The finishing touch? A fresh coat of Key Lime Green that ended up being a perfect complement to the surrounding flower garden. Proof that the right color choice can transform a piece — and that good bones are always worth saving.

Progress photos: In this project, I closed in a missing floor section where a spiral staircase used to be between the 2nd and 3rd levels. We added drywall to finish the 2nd-floor ceiling and installed new wood flooring above on the 3rd floor. The client requested a custom floor grate to keep airflow moving between the levels, blending function with a clean finish.

Another bathroom restoration complete!
I replaced water-damaged MDF trim with durable PVC trim, which is far better suited for moisture-prone areas. MDF can swell, warp, and deteriorate when exposed to water, while PVC offers long-lasting protection and a clean finish.

This client wanted a cleaner, more minimal look for their fireplace surround. I applied Meoded Plaster in the color “Villa” to transform the old tile into a smooth, modern finish. Meoded’s limestone/cement-based plaster is naturally water-resistant, and I sealed it with Satin Plaster Guard for added protection and durability.
Highly recommend Meoded Paint & Plaster for projects like this—beautiful results with lasting quality!

Here’s a recent bathroom restoration project I completed. The trim around the shower had sustained water damage due to the original builder using MDF trim—an unsuitable choice for high-moisture areas. Over time, the MDF absorbed water, leading to swelling, rot, and mildew. If left unaddressed, these issues can escalate and compromise surrounding materials. I removed the damaged trim and replaced it with PVC trim, a far more durable and appropriate solution. PVC is water-resistant, mold and mildew resistant, low maintenance, and built to last—making it ideal for bathroom environments.
