Trying dark clay today - Gunflint Stoneware but it’s making me want brownies!

My guy- Charlie, Cha-Cha, Charles, the tiny dog passed away yesterday at 14. I am filled with so much sadness and my heart is breaking but am thankful he was my spunky guy until the end. He had my heart from the beginning and was my first dog as an adult. He has been through so much life changes with me and was my best friend, by my side through it all. He outlived his dog buddies Gage and Tycho and now gets to go run circles around them again and roll in as much crap as he wants.

I will miss you every day Charlie Baby, I look forward to when we meet again with your little waggy tail and lots of hugs and kisses. ❤️🐾
Love Momma

The post on my personal account has many more pictures but I do just want to say from my business side that Charlie was a huge part of spending time with me in the studio while creating my business and making pottery. Many late nights with my guy ❤️

The Legacy of Charles…

-Charlie loved snuggling with me on the couch or in bed under the blanket next to me
-He kept up with the big dogs and had serious agility and was fast!
-He loved to wander especially at our new house and when he was deaf
-He finished off a woodchuck once
-He would love to roll in anything that smelled the worst
-He was Robbie’s buddy and gopher/snake hunting sidekick
-He loved snuggling Dakota
-He was “the shark” under the dinner table or in the kitchen (watch those chicken wings!)
- He had a love/nemesis relationship with Joe
-He loved Grandma Darlene and Jamie
-Loved 4-wheeler rides or running next to it
-Loved barking and chasing after squirrels or rabbits (and more recently cats)
-He kept me company during late nights in the art studio
-Loved to sun bathe on the deck
-Thought he was a cop
-Every young kid called him “the puppy” because he was small
-Friends loved to pick him up but he wanted it to to be his choice 😉
-There was a rumor he had the opportunity to be a coyote pack leader but turned it down

So many memories I’m forgetting, but he was a sweetie pie.

One of the fun things about my home studio is I get to work next to the chickens and they come lay by the window when I’m working ❤️
