Every class, playgroup, and event is crafted to inspire confidence, problem-solving, and imagination in the youngest innovators. We keep things simple, hands-on, and joy-filled. Our activities are open-ended, use safe and age-appropriate materials, and leave plenty of space for kids to explore at their own pace. Parents love that it feels intentional, and kids love that it feels like play. Bitty Builders is about building thinkers, dreamers, and doers who see the world as something they can shape.
Was anyone else absolutely obsessed with K’NEX as a kid?
I was thinking my 3 year old was about ready for a set, but then my husband and I locked eyes and thought “we need to go bigger” 🤣.
We headed to Home Depot, grabbed some 3/4” PVC, a bunch of connectors and a pipe cutter.
We cut the PVC down to 2’ lengths and we now have a super durable, giant, and modular, building set!
Add some sheets and the fort building opportunities will be endless.
Hardware stores are truly the hero of loose parts play.
Our play kitchen is like catnip for my 16 month old. One of the best purchases we’ve made 🤗. He cannot stay away.

Anyone else’s core childhood memories involve the local ice cream shop?
We took our 3 year old out for ice cream for the first time today and she was in her happy place.
The moment I spotted these giant clothespins at Dollar Tree I knew where they were headed…
…straight home with me so I could turn them into Pom Pom monster wall art hangers for my 3 year olds room.
Anyone else? Just me?
All it takes is a few board books and some mini pumpkins to turn any hallway into a bowling alley.
I love “bowling” because it helps with coordination, control, and aim.
Using pumpkins adds the perfect fall twist and helps kids see how different shapes affect how an object rolls and bounces.

Let’s make some naturally scented spiced play dough for fall 🍂.
If you feel like a pumpkin spice latte means it’s officially fall, you are going to love making this homemade play dough for your kids. It comes together in about 10 minutes and uses ingredients from your pantry.
Let’s go through this step by step and make it together so you can see just how easy it is to make the perfect seasonal sensory dough for your little one (or yourself 🤗)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup salt
- 1 tablespoon cream of tartar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 drops yellow food coloring
Directions:
- combine all dry ingredients in a bowl
- add in the oil and mix well
- add the food coloring to the boiling water and stir to fully distribute
- add the water and food coloring mixture to the dry ingredients and mix fully
- dump the dough onto a flat surface and knead until smooth and fully combined
- let cool
- play! 🤗
