You can't pour from an empty cup. God invites us to Sabbath and models it throughout Scripture. Sabbath is not doing less work, but instead pausing to prepare your heart to do His work for His glory.
How are you taking time to rest and trust God in the midst of a busy season?
God never asks for what He has not already provided.
In Exodus, God provided the gifts, the resources, the wisdom, and the strength needed to build the tabernacle. Every Israelite had a role, but the success of the work rested on Him.
God still works this way. He doesn’t call us because we are enough on our own. Through Jesus, He makes us worthy and invites us into what He is already accomplishing.

May we remember and honor those gave their lives in service to our country. We are grateful for their sacrifice and reminded of the greater hope and peace we have in Christ.
“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” — John 15:13
We were created to worship. The question is not if we worship, but what we worship.
In Exodus 32, Israel took something created and made it ultimate. We do the same thing when we look to relationships, success, comfort, control, appearance, money, or even good things to give us what only God can give. Pursuing anything more than God is idolatry.
What are you holding too tightly? What has become ultimate in your heart? Jesus alone is worthy of our worship and the only one who truly satisfies.

Yesterday we celebrated those who decided to call Crosspoint home this past year 🎉🫶🏼🏡
Why does membership matter? Membership is more than attending a service. It’s committing to knowing God deeply, being known in authentic community, and making Him known alongside the local church. We’re grateful for every person and family who has stepped in to join God’s mission with Crosspoint.
POV: Moses leaves the chat…turns out the golden calf wasn’t just an Exodus problem.
We still run to comfort, control, approval, money, success, and distraction, hoping they’ll give us what only God can.
This week in Exodus reminds us that idolatry isn’t always obvious. Sometimes it looks a lot like everyday life without dependence on God. And yet—even in rebellion—God responds with mercy.
We’ve given our full attention to everything else while becoming less accustomed to the presence of God.
More comfortable scrolling than sitting in His Word. More committed to our schedules than gathering with His people. This week in Exodus, reminds us that God’s people were called to carefully prepare for His presence because God wanted to dwell among them.
If you feel distant from Him, it doesn’t have to stay that way. Ask God for help. Here’s how you start.
The world tells us to follow our hearts, trust our opinions, and seek our own approval above all else. But Exodus 29–30 reminds us that God never asked Israel to edit His instructions. He called them to obey. And in that obedience, they met the goodness and holiness of God.
Our opinion is not higher than God’s will for our lives. His ways are better, even when they confront us, stretch us, or call us to surrender. Obedience to God is a way to know and trust Him more.
