Founded by four “founding moms” in 1995, the Interfaith Families Project has grown into a vibrant, active community of approximately 300 adults and children, one of the largest int

What a beautiful conclusion to our IFFP year!

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us yesterday—both in person at Saint Mark Fellowship Hall and online via Zoom.

Together, we officially wrapped up our "step-by-step" theme, looked ahead to next year's exciting new theme, and celebrated our amazing Sunday School students with some well-deserved end-of-year parties! 🎉 (And a huge thank-you to all the parents who brought those delicious snacks!)

We also shared a bittersweet, but incredibly joyful moment, celebrating the wonderful Miranda Hovemeyer. Miranda, we are so grateful for everything you’ve given to this community, and we wish you the absolute best as you step into your new role as AU’s Humanist Chaplain. You will be deeply missed, but we are so proud of you! ❤️

Thank you all for a fantastic year. Have a wonderful summer!

Come to the Pride Interfaith Service on June 22!

Celebrate the beautiful diversity of our community’s spiritual traditions at the annual Capital Pride Interfaith Service on Monday, June 22, 2026 at 7pm. The service will be at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 301 A Street, SE, Wash, DC 20003.

This year’s powerful theme, “In Faith We Exist. Resist. Persist.” anchors a collaborative service that honors the depth, breadth, and sincerity of our collective beliefs. We are happy to announce that the Bishop of Washington, The Rt. Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde, will be addressing the service this year.

Coordinated annually by Center Faith with vital input from across the community—including our own Rabbi Debbie—the service stands as a joyful, defiant reclamation of spirituality.

By coming together, we expose the false narrative that anti-LGBTQ+ fundamentalism holds a monopoly on religion. Instead, we take pride in the myriad of ways our community expresses its sacred traditions, each revered and steeped in history.

Whether you are looking to connect, reflect, or stand in solidarity, this uplifting evening promises to heal, inspire, and fortify our shared spirit.
