Rocklin’s past comes to life at the second annual Rocklin Heritage Street Faire!

This year’s celebration honors the industries and communities that shaped Rocklin—from the granite quarries and skilled stonecutters who built our early reputation, to the farms, ranches, and railroads that helped our town thrive. Visitors can enjoy live stone carving and granite‑splitting demonstrations, explore hands‑on displays, and hop aboard our popular Jubilee Train.

Alongside these historic highlights, the Street Faire will showcase the vibrant cultural traditions that continue to enrich Rocklin today, with dance performances representing Irish, Japanese, Native North American, Indian, Polynesian, Sikh, Chinese, Peruvian, Scandinavian, and American heritage.

Farron Street will be temporarily closed from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. to accommodate the Red, White & Bluegrass Parade on Saturday, May 2nd. The parade begins on Front Street near the orchard, turns right on Farron Street, follows the bend onto 5th Street, and concludes at Johnson-Springview Park.

Rocklin Road will remain open and is the recommended travel route during this time. Parking is available near the Rocklin Community Center before 2:30 p.m. and after 4:30 p.m. once roads reopen, as well as in the neighborhoods surrounding Johnson-Springview Park for the duration of the evening event.

Parade starts around 3:30pm, so grab a seat on the route and then we'll see you at Civic Celebration for the rest of the fun!

🎨 Art in Action: Celebrating Our Local Visionaries 🎨

Just finished presenting some much deserved certificates of recognition around town as your Rocklin Arts Commissioner. As someone who runs a business here and isn’t afraid to make some noise, I am beyond proud to stand with these absolute local powerhouses. We aren’t just “doing art” in Rocklin, we’ve been trying our damndest to build a real art legacy.

Check out these amazing locals I got to honor:

⚡ Tiffany Waugh: She is the real deal and always willing to give a helping hand. Tiffany is out here teaching people how to find their joy again through art without all the overthinking. Mentorship, murals, mental health, she does it all with zero ego.
⚡ Trisa Swerdlow: A total master of her craft. Trisa is a force of nature when it comes to fused glass and public art advocacy. She’s been in the trenches for Rocklin art for years and it shows.
⚡ Placer Artists Tour: 30-plus years of excellence. Let that sink in. This isn’t just an art tour; it’s a major backbone of our creative economy. Massive respect to the foundation Helen Phillips built.
⚡ Arts Council of Placer County: These folks have been the heavy lifters since 1983. They get the grants moving and the infrastructure built so our artists can actually thrive. Cheers to all the volunteers over the years!
