Rise: Poems of The Resistance.
We will be publishing a book of poetry. The theme is resistance in whatever forms that takes. This will be a fundraiser to Foundation 451 and will be available for sale through many outlets in both digital and paper formats.
Anyone who would like to send in work for publication, please submit up to four poems, no more than two pages each, via email. Each poem as a separate attached Word Doc/docx file with your last name and the title of the poem in the filename. Example: tritt rise.docx.
Please put Rise Submission in the subject line.
Please send them to [email protected]
We'd love to see your work and you can help us continue to get more banned books out to the folks who don't have access to them. All proceeds will go to Foundation 451.

We set up and left a (small) banned book distribution at The Rainbow Run (in good hands) to drive to Tallahassee where we were guests today for The First Amendment Foundation Awards, in Tallahassee at the FSU Law School Rotunda. Thank you so much! Thank you so much for recognizing the import and impact of the world we've been doing and the far-reaching effects of being serious troublemakers. Thank you to everyone who helps make this the serious good trouble it is.
Thank you, Lisa. You were right - we did have to go. Y'all know I didn't want to.

We had a special day giving out banned books at Space Coast Pride’s Trans Day of Visibility event in Eau Gallie! 🥰🏳️⚧️
Over 100 banned books made it into the hands of families and we met so many wonderful people in the process. A better day is not possible.
Thank you to Keith Straley and Jos, Corey, Chrissy McIlwraith and her son, and Connie Rooke and Scott Rooke for the amazing help in setup, teardown and everything before, after, and in between. Smooth as silk.
