34 years ago today, R.T. opened his doors for the first time down on Broadway! It’s amazing to think of all that has been accomplished since then. I’m extremely proud of my dad for the positive impact he has been able to make in the community over the years and his strength and hard work to keep this place going. Having a small business is never easy. Wheels has had many highs and lows, but without this dealership we wouldn’t have our family (literally how my parents met 😉). I’m so thankful for it all. Rockford is home and we have been fortunate enough to meet so many amazing people through this business. I hope we get to see another 34 years!

Merry Christmas to our Wheels Family!

Wow…this past week we wrapped up our 5th Annual Toy Drive! Each year it continues to get bigger and better and that wouldn’t be possible without all of you. ❤️ Not only did we get enough gifts for Easterseals, but Miss Carly's and Mother House Crisis Nursery were able to get toys too!! I will be honest, I was a bit worried with how hard things are for so many right now but I was definitely proven wrong! Even with all of the struggles going on, so many still wanted to help and I can’t thank you enough!

We were able to have another successful drive and angel tree where every family at Easterseals Teen Family Support was able to get gifts and then we followed up with a Christmas party for them. A huge thank you to Josh and his family at Green Acres, Josh and Manny at Lucha Cantina, Mike at The Discovery Center Museum, First Northern Credit Union, 95.3 The BULL, FOX 39, GiGi's Playhouse - Rockford LLC and all of our volunteers for helping all of this come to be!

We love being able to do this each year! It is so important to give when you can. Even if you can’t give something material, your time and energy is just as important! Not only do you help those who need it, but it will make your heart feel so much better and open many doors for you too. Remember, whether it’s giving or shopping…keeping it local is the way to go. ❤️

We are less than two weeks away until the start of our 5th Annual Toy Drive!! 🎄🎅🎁

For those of you that may be new to the Wheels Family or our page, let me tell you how great this event is! From November 16th to December 14th we will be collecting new and unwrapped toys for kids ages newborn to four years old. All of the toys donated go straight to Easterseals Teen Family Support of Rockford! We host this event with the goal to get a gift for each mother and child in the program. That is why we also will be setting up an angel tree in our showroom where you can pick an angel and shop for the whole family (Moms & babies) if you choose! Every gift donated and monetary donation made goes directly towards our Christmas event for Easterseals! So, everything is kept local! Once our Toy Drive wraps up we then have a Christmas party for all the families that participate in the organization!! At the party they get to enjoy a Christmas dinner, participate in activities, visit with Santa and of course open the wonderful gifts you all donated!

It is truly a magical experience planning the event, watching all of the donations come in, and then see all of the mommies and babies have a fun night! We are very fortunate to have this opportunity each year. We hope that you see all the good that can be done with this and want to be a part of it!
