Happy ! The first May Day celebrations were held in 1894. This image features the 1962 May Day celebrations; one of the last held on Old Campus. The May Day Queen was Mary Ann Jarman.

Happy ! The 1952 May Day Queen was Helen Wencel; this photograph was featured in the May 17, 1952 edition of the student newspaper, The Vanguard.
