Advanced Machine & Engineering
AME has been developing and producing machine tool components and metal cutting machines for over 50 In 1999, AME acquired Hennig, Inc.
Advanced Machine & Engineering® (AME) was founded in 1966 out of Rockford, Illinois by Willy Goellner. AME offered design, engineering, and consulting to industries including machine tool, assembly, and packaging. A number of in-house product lines and services, as well as a number of strategic partnerships were developed alongside steady company growth over the next thirty years. (USA), expanding

Check out our new DVF 5000 with the Hennig WorkFlow system!
A few things that really stand out on this setup:
• 40 pallet locations for true lights-out production
• Compact footprint with serious pallet capacity
• 300mm cube work envelope on each pallet
• 125 lb pallet weight capacity
• Integrated automation designed to work with a wide range of machine tool brands and controls
• A strong fit for high-mix work, repeat production, overnight runs, and both low- and higher-volume jobs
• Frees up operators from constant part swapping so they can focus on higher-value work
This is exactly where pallet automation makes sense: more spindle uptime, less manual handling, and a better use of your team’s time.

Preventative maintenance in machining is about more than avoiding downtime. It protects the precision, productivity, and profitability of your entire operation.
One critical area that is often overlooked is spindle pull-force verification. As drawbar systems wear over time, clamping force can drop, creating issues such as:
• Poor surface finish
• Increased tool wear
• Spindle taper fretting
• Unexpected downtime
• Reduced machining accuracy
Regular pull-force testing helps identify spindle clamping issues before they turn into costly failures.
We support manufacturers across North America with solutions like the POWER-CHECK 2.
