One Last Walk
Today you walked these halls once more,
Past familiar classrooms, every door.
The place where questions filled the air,
Where learning, laughter, and dreams were shared.
You came here small, with curious eyes,
Ready to wonder, explore, and rise.
Through science, math, and lessons each day,
You discovered your strengths along the way.
These halls remember your first hello,
The friendships formed and the growth we’d know.
The projects built, the books you read,
The goals you chased and the seeds you’d seed.
Now you return, taller and wise,
With new adventures waiting beyond these skies.
Though years have passed since you were here,
The memories remain, strong and clear.
As you take this final stroll today,
Remember that part of you will always stay.
Within these walls, your story remains,
In every success, challenge, and gain.
So walk with pride, hold your memories near,
And know you’ll always be welcome here.
For once a Tornado, always one—
And your next great journey has just begun.
Congratulations, Graduates!
Your RICMS family is proud of you.

💧🌎 Learning in Action! 🌎💧
Today, our third graders visited the local water treatment plant as the culminating experience for our inquiry unit on water around the world.
Throughout this unit, students explored important questions about water scarcity, pollution, drought, and access to clean water. They learned that while clean water is readily available to many of us, millions of people around the world face challenges accessing safe drinking water every day.
During our visit, students saw firsthand how water is cleaned and treated before it reaches our homes. They asked thoughtful questions, made connections to their classroom learning, and gained a deeper appreciation for the importance of protecting this valuable resource.
A huge thank you to the staff at the water treatment plant for helping bring our learning to life and inspiring our students to think about how they can make a difference in caring for our world’s water.

The Next Chapter
Today we stand and cheer for you,
For all the things you’ve learned to do.
From nervous first days long ago,
To confident leaders, watch you grow.
You’ve solved tough problems, read great books,
And found your voice in quiet nooks.
You’ve made good friends and learned to try,
To reach your goals and aim up high.
The halls you’ve known will soon be past,
But memories made here will last.
The laughter shared, the lessons learned,
The kindness given and respect earned.
Junior high is calling now,
A brand-new journey lies ahead somehow.
There will be challenges, this is true,
But we have great faith in each of you.
Be brave enough to take a chance,
Be kind enough to lend a hand.
Work hard, stay curious, dream big too,
And always be the best version of you.
Though you may leave these halls behind,
A piece of RICMS you’ll always find.
Once a Tornado, always one,
Your next great chapter has begun.
Congratulations, Class of 2026!
We’ll be cheering for you every step of the way. 🌪️💙🤍
We would love to see your photos from this amazing day!!
