The alumni of Aesop Academy, a school for nursery rhyme characters, are having a reunion. Unfortunately, so are the alumni of Grimm High, their cross-town rivals... and both gatherings have been scheduled for the same time and place!

Bitter enemies — like Peter and the Wolf, Toto and the Witch, and Jack and the cow he sold for magic beans — face off. Old grudges are rekindled, and tensions run high.

The powder keg explodes when the Cat is killed (and not by curiosity!), followed by Piggy, whose melodramatic death scene causes someone to observe, “Sheesh! What a ham!” And in the middle of all this chaos, all Queen can say is “Another one bites the dust!”

There’s no end to the laughs as the two warring schools team up to solve the mystery... or risk suffering the same fate! The jokes and twists abound in this delightful romp that is great fun for kids and adults alike!

Youth will enjoy making new friends as they build performance skills and learn self-confidence and teamwork. We foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that is affordable, relaxed and welcoming.

Our youth class and camps are age integrated.
We believe that youth of all ages can teach and learn from each other, and we do them a great disservice by grouping them with only ages as the determining factor. ​

Our Theater Mission

Our mission is to create affordable theater experiences for the WNY community that are full of wisecracking, whimsy and wit.

Our youth classes, camps and shows are for children of all skill levels. They will learn improvisation, role-play, mime, movement, storytelling, modeling, etiquette and theatre games that help build confidence and increase self-awareness, relaxation, responsibility, creativity and imagination.

By focusing on storytelling on a variety of levels such as physical, emotional, imaginative and social, these classes will encourage artistic insight and enhance acting skills. Whether students are interested in careers in acting or simply want to try something new, our youth classes, camps and shows will offer an exciting and educational experience for all.

Our community shows are for anyone in the ROC community who hasn't found their connection yet or anyone who would like to try for the first time! We welcome performers of all ages, and look forward to providing an experience that is affordable and truly inclusive to all.
