Dan Keating '05S (MBA), Clinical Associate Professor of Information Systems and AI at Simon Business School, URochester, believes AI is more than a tool. It's an agent capable of uncovering unexpected connections, generating fresh ideas, and taking on repetitive cognitive tasks, allowing people to focus on higher-level thinking and creativity.
"AI can make decisions, stitch correlations together, and find novel connections," Professor Keating says. "It is not a tool; it's an agent."
