✨ Lyle gets a makeover.🐢✨ A fresh bath and new harness have transformed him into a whole new tortoise!
Although it is nice to wash some of the grunge off of Lyle, tortoises benefit from soaking in warm shallow water. (Remember, tortoises can’t swim!) Soaking signals to them that it is time to release their stored up urates and waste, and many tortoises will absorb some water through their cloaca. 🛁 🐢
