A company that is dedicated to enhancing the listening experience of hearing aid users by providing induction hearing loop products, which turn a t-coil or telecoil into a personal listening device for the user. The business continues its effort to facilitate the nationwide initiative to foster induction hearing loop systems installation. The company goals are:

The Purple Rose Theatre in Chelsea, MI has a new hearing loop. It is a small theatre founded in 1991 by acclaimed actor and Chelsea native Jeff Daniels, The Purple Rose Theatre Company is a creative home for theatre artists to define our collective Midwestern voice.

Recently the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Birmingham, MI celebrated it’s new Sanctuary. Fortunately, Loop America was contracted to install hearing loops both in the sanctuary and the balcony. As shown below the beautiful altar area includes a new pipe organ. Congratulations and Thank you to the congregation.

The Clinton Township, MI Board of Trustees have a new hearing loop in their boardroom. It was donated and provided by Hear Now Audiology & Tinnitus Center, Tammy Patton Outreach, and Loop America. Thanks to Angela McNabb & Tammy Patton for getting the approval for the donation and to Charlie McNabb for assisting in the installation of the hearing loop. Also, a thanks to Mike Scott and Dave (sound equipment) for facilitating the installation.

The Parishioners at St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Flushing, MI are being introduced to a hearing loop in the Sanctuary. Thanks to Dave Staley and his volunteers for helping to install the wire around the seating areas. Dave also helped me to resolve some challenges with the tuning of the system.

The Birmingham Temple located in Farmington Hills, MI persevered until sufficient funds were raised to cover the installation of hearing loops in the Meeting Room and the Family Room. Also, a team of Temple members gathered to lift and replace carpet tiles to enable the wire installation in the Family Room. Thanks to Audrey Pleasant, HLAA member, for coordinating the fund raising and for getting a team together in the Family Room. Thanks goes out to Ann-Marie, Executive Director, for her support and participation and to Tony, Mike, and others, whose names I did not get, for their participation as well.

River Terrace Church is located in East Lansing, MI across the street from Michigan State University. The church is now equipped with two hearing loops, one covering the pews and another around the choir section. Thanks to Laura, Mark, Brendan, Shalom, Brent, and many others who supported the project, we are honored to participate.

Holy Spirit Lutheran Church in Grand Blanc, MI has a new hearing loop in time for Palm Sunday. Pastor Nathan Allen announced the hearing loop to the congregation last Sunday. Pastor Nathan told me that everything went, “Very well! We had three people say they could hear better than they had in years!” Our thanks go out to the congregation for providing the opportunity.

The St. Kenneth Catholic Church in Plymouth, MI has been undergoing a physical expansion of the building, including the sanctuary. The renovated sanctuary has recently been returned to service despite ongoing construction. Included in the renovation was the installation of a hearing loop. Although the weather presented challenges to the construction, it is planned to be finished soon. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in the project.

Just in time for the Easter service, the West Forest United Methodist Church in Millington, MI will present their new hearing loop. Thanks to Joe, Gerry, Gary, and Larry, we installed and connected the hearing loop in 4 hours and several were able to turn on their telecoils during the testing phase. Thank you to the members of the congregation for the opportunity.
