Mudra stems from the Sanskrit meanings of spiritual gesture and energetic seal, both of which are deeply rooted in classical dance forms. Mudra is the depiction of facial expressions of and hand gestures symbolic of Indian dance cultures.

Our group, MUDRA, encompasses a diverse collection of interests and personalities, bringing together individuals from various places in India. Our goal is to increase awareness and showcase the different dance forms of our rich cultural heritage. The group, though nascent, is vibrant with energy and passion for learning and exposing the art.
