It’s conflicting to feel both thankful and unfulfilled towards life at the same time… More deeply thankful for all of the beautiful parts than ever before yet unfulfilled without you here.

I’ve strangely been dreading this day because I was told the online recording of your service expires after 3 months. I want to watch it to further cement how meaningful of a celebration it was into my memory… but have been putting it off.

As I write, I’m specifically thinking of the other ladies I know who have also tragically lost a parent recently (you know who you are!). It’s cruel, unfair, painful and too soon… I’m sending love your way as we feel some of the same things. I’m sure there are more of you reading this than I know who have felt these same things too. ❤️

How blessed are we to have had someone we miss so much?
