This First Friday at AltBar from 5-8pm, see a series of colorful sketches by Bec Artc!

"As an artist, I am always interested in working with different mediums and trying out new styles and methods. This work is a result of working with oil pastels and vibrant colors, trying to have a fun, organic flow. I enjoyed the textures created with the oil pastels and the fluidity of not chasing perfection with any subject matter. It has also inspired loose patterns and abstract work."

Un1Sun Art is the embodiment of unity through creativity. Rooted in Rochester, NY, and shaped by a School of the Arts education, my work bridges the worlds of street art and classical training. Each piece reflects a dialogue between raw expression and refined technique, honoring both the rebellious energy of graffiti and the discipline of academic artistry.

The name Un1Sun symbolizes alignment: all things on one accord. My art is not confined to a single style or medium but seeks to unify diverse influences into a singular vision.

Artists and artisans at the historic Vacuum Oil Refinery open up their studios to share their in-process and completed work. Come see printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, painting woodworking, culinary arts, photography, stop-motion animation, and more. Natalie Sacchitella, B-314
Natalie Sacchitella works out of her ceramic studio in The Refinery in Rochester, NY. She mostly focuses on functional pottery such as mugs, plates and bowls putting emphasis on simple forms with bright pops of color and craved designs. She creates these bright pops of color using porcelain slips that are dyed using mason stains. Natalie takes influences from her hometown in the Finger Lakes to create beautiful cravings of nature. She will have pottery for sale and be doing demonstrations throughout the night.

Transforming the new Cocktail Lab into a monthly immersive experience, The ArtChives invites you to an intimate First Friday curated and hosted by Taryn Highsmith & Brandon Pinkins. It's Just Weather
Paintings and sculpture by Nancy Topolski

Topolski’s recent work explores industrial, domestic, and natural environments, centering on themes of change, growth, and memory. These pieces bring together fragments of text and allusive imagery alongside found objects and felted wool.
