Got out finally and do what I love most, Fly fishing for beautiful brown's. The colors on this brown 😍

Saturday's adventure on the river produced a bunch of walleyes most of them just under 15" big mommas haven't moved up yet for spawn. 4D's Outdoors & Secret Spot Baits plastics were the ticket . They are a little softer and produce more action. Tested these last year and now this spring so far just amazing.

Finally, a day to fish outside, move around, and hammer some nice crappies!

Went out with Vinh, and his family. His daughter hooked and put topside a 26 1/2 walleye personal best for her all that beginners luck i guess. Some nice saugers as well with a bonus perch.

Myself, Dor, and Vinh got into some nice smallmouth today.

We took a chance at a stream a day after opener and to our surprise there was an empty stretch. Some great hungry trout came on leech patterns and a few in the later day hit dry Flys. All were healthy and hard fighters. All were released

Found a few rainbows eager for the nymphs that drifted by. This driftless stream has been on my mind for sometime, but always got put on hold. As I guided a friend to new waters this year we were blessed with a beautiful day.
