Doorbell Vet celebrates diversity year round - and not just the variety of patients we see.

While we are sad to share that we will not be able to make it to Trillium Health’s Rochester Pride Parade and Festival this year, we chose to share our support instead by donating to Trillium Health in the amount of the parade registration fee.

We’ll catch you there in 2027!

We hope you’re enjoying the beautiful sunshine and warmth after our long Rochester winter! We wanted to take a moment to spread awareness on some common toxins and other dangers to pets that are frequently seen this time of year. Is there anything on this list that surprises you?

-Rodenticides and insecticides
-Lillies, among other plants and flowers
-Chocolate
-Household cleaners
-Many essential oils
-Mulch
-Marijuana
-Human foods high in fat and/or sodium (we’re looking at you, hot dogs and hamburgers!)
-Hot pavement
-Loud, sudden noises like fireworks
-Parasites

We wanted to take this opportunity to give a big shout out to our Inventory Manager at Doorbell Vet, Allison!

She manages to keep our in-house pharmacy fully stocked, orders supplies for the hospital and lab, and works hard to keep things around Doorbell Vet oh-so-organized. Not to mention this is on top of her duties as a Licensed Vet Tech!

This job takes a lot of time, effort, and requires a certain level of metciulousness to help keep things running smoothly.
We couldn’t do it without you, Allison!

We recently had the pleasure of meeting this little guy, Finch! Do you think he has early bird energy or night owl vibes?
