It is with extremely heavy hearts that we share this news. Don was an amazing mentor and was always a gentleman. He started our welding program and not only taught us all how to weld, he taught us to be professional about our work. I am eternally grateful for your mentorship, Don. Thank you for everything. You will be missed dearly.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Iron Workers President Emeritus Walter W. Wise Jr.

Alongside our 130,000 members, the general executive council mourns the passing of a true, devoted brother. We honor his life and legacy by committing ourselves to the safety, well-being, and unity of our brothers and sisters, ensuring every ironworker may always return home as Walt so passionately hoped.

Ironworkers Local 33 is proud to help the Pirate Toy Fund kick start this years toy drive on Black Friday at the Barnes & Noble in Webster!
