Chosen Valley Testing

The soil resistivity apparatus measures the electrical resistance of soils using the Wenner 4-pin method. Four stainless steel pins inserted into the soil at predetermined spacing provide readings that are averaged for results.

Chosen Valley Testing provided construction testing and special inspections for La Crosse Fire Station #2.

CVT is proud to be working with Fowler and Hammer, Inc., conducting construction materials testing for the Reedsburg Field House project being constructed in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. It is a 52,000 square foot fieldhouse that will house 5 basketball and 9 volleyball courts. It will be used by local residents, recreation teams and leagues, and host regional tournaments.

Particle size analysis is used to distinguish the size distribution of particles in a given sample. Particle size analysis can be applied to solid materials, suspensions, emulsions and even aerosols. There are many different methods employed to measure particle size.
