Hey, so you guys remember Drink and Draw last year? Well, we were thinking for this year, we could do a 24 hour animation. It would start in the morning with writing the script, and then go on from there until the following day when we had a finished film! What do you guys think of that?

HEY ANIMATION LOVERS! Just wanted to share that RIT will be showing the Academy award nominated and Annie Award winning 'The Illusionist'! It's directed by the same person as the Triplets of Belleville, and it only costs a dollar! It's on the 21st at 10 in Ingle. Bring some friends, hang out and watch some fantastic foreign animation!

Drink n' Draw 2011! This is the animated film we made over the course of 3 hours, each person drawing a few frames of the film until the end where the last people tied it all together. Take a look!
This is the animation we made in Animation Club on Friday! Each of the members shot a few frames of the animation. It turned out pretty well, and it was a good intro into stop motion. Next week - After Effects Compositing!
Hey animation club!
Don't forget our meeting is tomorrow at 4pm in the undergrad lab (same as last week) where we'll be having a stop motion demo!
Also for anyone interested, we'll be giving rides downtown to see Will Gay, the creative director from Disney's in-house agency, Yellow Shoes, at the Inn on Broadway in Rochester. It costs $20.00 to get in, so bring money if you're going!
