This summer marks 20 years since The Strong’s 2006 expansion that added four brand-new exhibits and expanded existing spaces like the Adams Atrium where a 3-story-high, 200-foot-long caterpillar-like structure connected the existing building to the new wing and is capped by a 70-foot-high glass wall that drenches the airy space in natural light. The space by the glass wall has hosted countless events since 2006 and seen some updates itself in the following years.
