Hi everyone! People have been asking if we are still here or what is going on with the boys. Well, our summer vacation from the project actually lasted a little longer than the summer. Things have been extremely busy for the boys with school, pre-teen struggles, music, sports and of course family. Everyone is great, just taking a break. We are still open, just not pushing things as the boys started to get burned out. We do however have one thing going on in the next week. You can check it out at http;//bit.ly/1AgkG7U. It will be a lot of fun especially because the boys are huge lacrosse lovers. If you are local, check it out and stop by and say hi. The game is free so that makes it better.

Sometimes we forget the effect people have on our lives and all of a sudden
remember it when that person is no longer with us. A close friend of our family passed away a few days ago. I grew up with him being a best friend of my parents, he was Uncle Sam to my kids and a part of a family that supported us with this project. he struggled with Parkinson's and we know he suffers no longer. RIP Sam Kinel. You will be missed.

Connor and Jackson have decided where they want to go to university. Better study hard and get real good at lacrosse to get those Ivy League academic and athletic scholarships.

It's hard to believe another year has gone by and our little, little boy is another year older. We think he's accomplished so much in the past 3 years and we're so very proud of him! Please join us in wishing Connor MacQuarrie Grossman a very happy 9th birthday!
P.S. For a present, he's asked for another 6 new followers on Facebook to bring Marbles4MS up to 1900! Can anyone help us with that? In Connor's words - "Now THAT would be worth celebrating!!" Thanks everyone and have a wonderful day :)
The boys are enjoying one of their favorite summer weekend at the 1812 Shootout lacrosse tournament in Sacketts Harbor, NY (1000 Islands). 4 games in 4 hours for each of them with Jackson playing today and Connor tomorrow. Not sure if it is the lacrosse or staying at the hotel plus swimming and playing with their teammates they like best but they are having a ball.

The boys attended their first wedding last night. (Congrats cousin Abbey and Max!)
Connor hadn't danced before, but found courage in 27 kiddie-cocktails. Today he remembers nothing and asked if I 'photoshopped' him into these pics.. :P
Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend!

What does Connor do to occupy his time during the summer? The marbles get put away for almost 4 months.

Jackson's project Marbles4ManKind finished their fundraising activities for a second school year. 500 students from Indian Landing Elementary ran, biked, shot hoops and ate pancakes - all to raise money for the MS Society, Humane Society, Make-a-Wish, Sierra Club and the American Cancer Society!
AND, we were approached by a teacher in Connecticut that would like to carry on Marbles4MS at her school! Could this be catching on ?!! YAY :)
What a great day! Great weather to be at a lacrosse tourney w/ Jackson (6 goals, 8 assists). They made it to the championship game but unfortunately lost. Connor played his lacrosse during halftime at the MLL Rochester Rattlers game. He came home with a jersey full of autographs and learned a stick trick from 4 time All American, Syracuse and professional star Casey Powell. The trick is called "the girlfriend getter". Better watch out ladies as he is outside practicing it now.
