After eight years of raising money for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, I’m sad to say that the FallCrawl will not be taking place in 2014. There are far too many people to thank individually for helping to get this off of the ground, and elevating it to one of the best local fundraising events in Rochester. To everyone that opened their doors, all of the local sponsors, everyone who made a donation, bought a shirt or wristband or BOTH, told a friend, got the band together, designed a shirt, built a website, traveled from out of town to help support this, THANK YOU!! We’ve had a lot of fun and every dollar raised has made a difference.

We were up against a pubcrawl on Friday night (that had no ties to charity), a weekend festival downtown, a marathon on Sunday, and it rained all day long..... that being said we still raised just over $12,000!!! Pretty amazing and says a lot about everyone who contributed, donated, performed, volunteered, and came out on Saturday for the Crawl. Every dollar makes a huge difference, thank you for making this a successful event year after year. Eight years, $131,713!

2013 Rochester Breast Cancer FallCrawl Starting Friday September 6th, wristbands will be available for $10 at Temple Bar and Grill, Salingers, Wall Street, and Hot Shots Indoor Volleyball. All proceeds from this event benefit Making Strides Against Breast Cancer chapter of the American Cancer Society right here in Rochester.

The raffle prize drawing will take place Wednesday, September 18th, winners will be e-mailed and prizes will be distributed Thursday, September 19th at Hot Shots on University Ave. The GRAND PRIZE will not be awarded until after the FallCrawl as additional raffle tickets will be sold that day for the GRAND PRIZE only.
