In memory of Marye E. Miller 1937-2024

As part of her legacy at the Older Person's Commission (OPC), Marye Miller Founding Director, established a transportation bus service, even driving the bus herself at times. Today, the OPC honors her contribution with the Marye Miller Transportation Entrance. Marye’s vision for the OPC was to provide everyone 50+ with an array of personal enrichment, fitness, aquatic, social and travel offerings to live their best lives. Marye with an “e” Endowment

To further her commitment to the senior population, she created the Marye with an 'e' Endowment, which supports the “forgotten middle” seniors in financial need for care or basic living expenses. This endowment has partnered with the Next Steps 4 Seniors Foundation to provide this crucial support to local seniors.

Marye Miller founding executive, Track, shirt of the nationally recognized Older Persons’ Commission for 41 years. Mary devoted her life to helping seniors thrive passed away on June 15 at the age of 87 at her home in Rochester, surrounded by her children.
