‘Resilience’ - Print 4 of The Generose Series

‘Resilience’ is inspired by the courage to begin again.
To keep unfolding despite uncertainty.
To trust that beauty can grow from what once felt broken.

Flowers are shaped by both sun and storm, and this piece is meant to honor the power of persistence and the grace found in continuing forward.

‘Synapse’ - Print One of the Generose Series.

Created during my hospitalization at Generose Hospital, this piece reflects the complexity of healing. The winding lines flow like neural pathways. Forming, pausing, reconnecting, and mirroring the layers as I moved through grief, diagnosis, and self-discovery.

Healing seldom follows a straight path. It curves, overlaps, loops back, forth, and unfolds in its own time.

Synapse honors the maze of undoing and the beauty in staying.

Prints available for preorder. Link in bio + comments for easy access. 🤍

2026 has been full of new art and paint-stained hands. Just the way I like it.

12/29/2025

2025 was the year of the Snake.

Today I’m reflecting on all that has fallen away.
The layers shed.
The versions of me that weren’t meant to stay.

Choosing a Word of the Year has been one of the most grounding practices in my recovery. Something steady to return to when things feel loud or uncertain. These words have served as a quiet reminder of who I’m choosing to be, one day at a time.

I paint each word by hand using a soft watercolor wash and hand-drawn script. Each word is created slowly and intentionally just for you.

Sized to fit a 4x6 frame, they’re easy to place in a wall collage, on your desk, your fridge, or as a meditation focal point.

✨ Details:

$20 + $5 shipping

✨ How to order:
• Choose your word
• Send two colors to blend
• Venmo -kunstman

Word of the year 2026. Let’s honor who you’ve been… and make space for who you’re becoming 🤍

Let’s do this.

Art has a way of bringing me back to myself.
When the world feels heavy, I draw.
When I need rest, I let color and texture remind me that being still is still sacred work.

Grounding doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it’s just slowing down enough to notice the beauty in this moment — right here, right now.

New art coming in hot. ✨🖤

Becoming ✨

Right now, I’m in the quiet in-between.
Not rushing. Not forcing. Just… allowing.

This season is for waiting. Not with frustration, but with faith.

For healing, not to erase what hurt, but to honor what I’ve survived.

For resting — deeply, unapologetically.

For embracing the changes, the softness, the strength I didn’t know I had.

It’s not a pause, but rather, a becoming.
A return to myself.
A rooting before blooming.
A slow, sacred trust in the timing of things.

Right now, I’m learning to love the stillness.
The quiet curve of a line that doesn’t need to shout to be art.

And I’m falling in love with the woman I’m becoming…
not because she’s figured it all out,
but because she’s learning to hold herself gently through every chapter.

Two pivotal moments this week:

1. In church this past Sunday we talked about the goal of all of this. When you take away the rigidity and the human constructs surrounding the Americanized church, the point comes down to one thing: for all of us to get to heaven TOGETHER.

2. In therapy my counselor said something simple and wise that I’d never heard so clearly before. She said, “Don’t ever blame god for what people do.“

The verse of the day, 02.24.2025, comes from Galatians, 5:14.

“Love your neighbor as yourself.”

I’ve always struggled with this one. Not because I struggle to love people, but because I’ve had the tendency to love others more than myself. I’d go as far as losing myself in others in order to avoid facing myself.

I’ve been leaning into scripture heavily, especially in this season, and the more I lean in, the more clearly I see that the point isn’t to love someone as much as something else — it’s to love, period.

So, I made two versions of today’s verse. One more elaborate than the other, but whichever one speaks to you, please rest in that and know you are loved and welcome here for all that you are.

Peace sounds really lovely right about now, so I’m going to trust in this.
