Solstice... we are bringing back the light!
Luna woke up this morning and said 'Our house is so pretty in the morning, it's like an instagram post that makes me want to drink hot coco'
Annnnnd my job is complete!!

Here is a song to stuck in your head today, one of my favorite lantern walk songs!

Glimmer, lantern, glimmer.
Little stars a-shimmer.
Over meadow, moor and dale,
Flitter, flutter, elfin veil.
Pee-wit, pee-wit, tikka-tikka-tik.
Rucoo, rucoo.

Small Business Saturday..just one day late! 💚❤️💚❤️
My favorite shop in all the state..
Not only do I get to put my hands in the dirt here, start seeds and care for the most glorious plants, I also get an inside peek at local artists newest works. Inside the gift shop we are surrounded by unique glass work, local authors, photographers and painters!
After dragging my feet, I've finaly started putting my work back in shops! Leaving the vendors in Alaska was hard. I was able  to connect with so many amazing artists while traveling around the state (I miss you !) Starting from scratch in New York seemed daunting.
This opportunity to display my Forager Pockets was what I needed to get excited and motivated to see what other small shops I can discover in the upcoming new year.
So, support local, shop small, gift with thought, and so much love!

🌲The last photo is our very first Christmas tree in New York, straight from Sara's! We named him Robert and eventualy planted him with some friends in our backyard, 🌲

Keeping communication channels wide open for this generation. Spreading love, understanding, and acceptance.
Just a reminder, Pride festivals are an AMAZING source for community resources. Family services, mental health and su***de prevention, library access, election reform and ballott access, the list goes on and on! By far, one of the best places to go to get information, help, or just a kind heart to listen and understand.

And all at once, they were in my arms again. The little pieces of my heart have returned from their cross-country adventures. I missed them so.
Summer maddness rolls on with hikes in 90-degree weather, waterfall after waterfall, and some very cold gorge swimming.

We are always looking for places to adventure. Give me your best ideas!

(Final slide is from the series 'watch Sparkie Guard Rail Kaboom' grow!)

The wild Preble summer begins!
In a flash we've celebrated the Solstice/Full moon, end of school, garden abundance, the addition of Sparkie Guardrail Kaboom Preble, and the solo flights of my three baby girls. While they adventure across the country, Lark and I may just take hammock naps and waterfall adventures until they return to us!

14.
My Lu. You are such an amazing young woman. A kind and thoughtful soul. You draw in those who feel like they have no place and make them feel at home.
We have endless inside jokes, and you still think I'm cool enough to ask me to get my nose pierced with you.
You are beyond creative, beautiful, and honor roll smart (!!!)
You love your siblings, even when you truly don't, and they adore you always.
You amaze me every day, little light of mine, happiest day of birth.
