Outrun is a fantastic arcade racer, no matter which Sega console you choose to play it on. Sure, the graphics and sound suffer on the less powerful consoles, but the great gameplay persists on all versions. Fire up your and decide which one you like best!

Continuing to set up retro PCs for comparisons. This is an Athlon 1000 with a Radeon 7000. I highly recommend small SSDs for these projects. Super cheap currently, and the install flies by.

Ace Combat takes a turn and crashes and burns on the Gameboy Advance. An odd, top down view was chosen, even with first person flight simulators dating all the way back to the days of the Atari home computers. Add to that sluggish controls and an ugly presentation and this game does not live up to the original Playstation classic.

The Nintendo portables are the home of 3D demakes. Their long life cycles pushed companies to port popular franchises with varying degrees of success. Jet Grind Radio was one of the more successful ports, retaining many elements of its Dreamcast counter part.
