100% electric vehicle (EV) car sharing service now serving Rochester, NY. The service will launch later this year and cars will be located throughout the City.
Floshare is available to anyone over 21 years of age with a valid drivers license, relatively clean driving record. Floshare is the new electric vehicle carsharing service sponsored in part by the City of Rochester and NYSERDA. The carsharing service allows for hourly and daily rentals, you just need a valid drivers license and to be 21 with a good driving record.

Due to unsustainable increases in the rates for insurance in New York State, Floshare will be on pause for the next few months, until the new carshare legislation goes into effect.
We are so appreciative of the support this service has received in the community and will continue to work toward making transportation more accessible for all. We thank you for your patience during this time and look forward to being back again soon!
