585 Electric RC Drag Racing

Hi Everyone,
It’s with very heavy heart that I have to write this post. This past winter Empire Dragway was informed by their insurance company that they are not, and would not be covered for RC racing on the property. We have worked together with the track owners for the past 3 months trying to find a solution. We came close a few times, but we just couldn’t get things to line up as needed.

Unfortunately Empire Dragway has chosen to drop the RC Drag racing program due to the costs and risk involved.

We are very thankful to have had the opportunity to race at a facility this nice. That surface, wide lanes, proper layout for prep and dry tire cars, and the longest safest shutdown we’ve ever seen definitely spoiled us all.

We want to thank the Empire Dragway family and crew for their support over the past 4 years. The track was responsible for creating some pretty awesome friendships and competitive racing.

We hope to see everyone at races whenever we can travel.
