On Monday, Apple released the next biggest version of its operating system for iPhones: “iOS 15”. The operating systems stable, but there is a known bug that is rather annoying, but annoying only. This bug is triggered if your iPhone becomes close to full and prompts a notification within the Settings app that cannot be clicked/swiped or in any way dismissed. Again, no deleterious consequences to your iPhone, but it is annoying.
Apple released a minor update on September 13th: “iOS 14.8”. This update is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to be installed ASAP as significant security vulnerabilities were discovered and patched via this update.
Even though iOS 15 is the most recent update available, your iPhone should still let you update to iOS 14.8 instead.
