Habitat for Humanity and Finger Lakes Community College provided a Build Day experience where participants worked on a house for a family in need while applying hands-on skills. Giving back to the community is a priority for YouthBuild Rochester and Urban League of Rochester. The community supports each other through such initiatives.

Shout out to our Pike team for hosting a jobsite tour for Urban League of Rochester’s YouthBuild program at Cobbs Hill Senior Apartments last week! The students had a unique opportunity to witness the different phases of construction up close and personal. They gained valuable insights into the importance of each trade’s responsibility in bringing a project to life. We’re proud to support the next generation of skilled workers and inspire future careers in construction!

GP Flooring Solutions recently led a job-site tour for the Urban League’s YouthBuild program, which helps young people gain their GED and job readiness skills for a future in construction. Three members of our GP Flooring team, including Project Manager Chris Stoffel and President and CEO Abby Reinhard, joined three team members from Home Leasing to walk through the Tailor Square project and share insights about the world of commercial construction. We love supporting the YouthBuild program and are proud to continue our long-standing collaboration with the Urban League!
