This week on The Rundown Stella, Tori, and Mike recap the MSHSL State High School Softball Tournament and are joined by one of the best! Class AAAA State Champion and Bloomington Jefferson's Head Coach, Jim Hanson, joins us to talk about their road to greatness in 2026! It has been a great high school softball season full of many great moments and we are happy to have brought many of them to you! We thank you for listening to The Rundown!

🥎 McKenzie Brooks (Cambridge-Isanti) Pitcher who hit .400 with 3 XBH 4 RBI and went 3-0 in the circle with 28K in 18IP and a 1.55 ERA. She also threw a 1 hit, 6K shutout against Zimmerman. Her Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets are 17-1.

🥎 Emma Peterson (St. Croix Prep) went 7 for 10 at the plate this past week with 4 doubles and a triple. She also set team records for the season with 36 RBIs and 14 doubles. She ended the regular season with a 5 inning no hitter. She has spent the entire season playing out of position at short stop and pitching due to injuries.

🥎 Lila Johannsen (Farmington) lit it up this week. .533 in 17 PAs with 5 XBH that included a HR, 3 doubles, a triple and 6 RBI. Her team went 4-0 over that time and won the SSC Championship with a 19-1 record.

🥎 Trinity Jensen (Lakeville South) Batted .500 with 9 runs scored, 3 RBI and 5 stolen bases in 22 plate appearances. Her team went 4-1 in that time. Jensen has had a great season, the Iowa State commit is leading her team with a .527 average, 22 runs scored and is 11 for 11 stealing bases.
