Irondequoit Community Orchestra

Free concert at the Irondequoit Library on Wednesday, May 27, 7 pm. Be prepared to enjoy music presented by Irondequoit's own Community Orchestra!

The ICO has many events in the near future. The Ashley Woods concert is mainly for Episcopal SeniorLife residents and friends. The Irondequoit Library concert is free and open to the public. In June the ICO will begin a special Summer Orchestra program made possible by a grant from the Genesee Valley Council on the Arts. Playing in the ICO this Summer is Free and we encourage all "senior citizen" string players to join us for a Summer of great music under the direction of S. Shade Zajac.

The ICO has just begun the winter rehearsals of fantastic string orchestra music. We welcome players of all ages and abilities to join us!

The Irondequoit Community Orchestra will present a concert of "Joyous Music for the Holidays" at the Irondequoit Public Library on December 17, 7 pm. This is a concert you don't want to miss!

The Irondequoit Community Orchestra will give a concert on November 6, 6:30 pm, at the Pittsford Community Library featuring the world premiere of "Circe" by composer Daniel Pesca. There will be a pre-concert talk, 5:30 pm, with composer Daniel Pesca and soprano Tyler Cassidy-Heacock describing the creation of "Circe" for string orchestra and soprano, based on a poem by Hilda Doolittle.
